Police arrest creator of Ransom Cartel, Reveton ransomware operations



Maksim Silnikau, a Belarusian-Ukrainian national, was extradited from Poland to the United States, where he faces charges for creating the Ransom Cartel ransomware strain in 2021 and also for leading a malvertising operation from 2013 to 2022.
